The UC SYD Library is closed

UC SYD Library is from Thursday the 12th of march closed, due to the Prime Minister and UC SYDs new corona-guidelines. We will open again 27th of march at the earliest.

You can use the self-checkout thursday and friday the 12th and 13th of march. Here you can borrow books, get books you have reserved and return books. There will not be any personel available to help.

The library will keep the phones open Thursday and Friday 12th and 13th of march; hereafter you can contact us by mail on bibliotek@ucsyd.dk.

You can renew your loans 14 days before the due date. If you have problems or if you cannot renew the books, you must contact us at bibliotek@ucsyd.dk

To-Go service

NB! All UC SYD Libraries are closed thursday and friday the 21th and 22th of may


UC SYD Library will by Wednesday 29th april start a to-go service. This means that you can reserve books online, and these will then be delivered to you within about two weekdays at a specified place and time - see below. All questions, guidance and the like will still be handled online.

Borrowing books: You can reserve the books you need on this website. We will then pack the books and register them in your name. The books will be ready within one or two days, depending on where the books are located. You will receive a notification on your UC SYD mail when they're ready for you, and you must pick them up within 5 week-days. Pick-up will be at a specific place and time. We will only be open for pick-up for one hour per weekday. At the time of writing, place and time have not been set - check back for updates. You must show ID to pick up your books - UC SYD student card or your Sundhedskort. You will not be able to pick up books on behalf of others.

Returning books: You can return books at the specified time - see details on the link below. All returned books must be packed in a bag of some kind.
